Sto AirSeal is a vapor permeable fluid-applied membrane designed for application over CMU and sheathing and for use under various other claddings, including metal panels, cement board, vinyl, wood, brick and stone.
Sto AirSeal is part of the StoGuard air barrier and moisture barrier assembly. The assembly combines Sto AirSeal with StoGuard joint / rough opening treatments to create a continuous air and moisture barrier which prevents air infiltration and ingress of water into the building, protecting moisture sensitive components, and providing the base for an energy efficient wall assembly.
Sto AirSeal is spray applied through an airless sprayer.
Sto AirSeal™ is a fluid-applied, acrylic-based primary air barrier material that cures to form a seamless membrane. It is applied directly to vertical above grade concrete masonry units (CMU), brick masonry & cast in place concrete. It can also be used with various sheathings including Glass Mat Gypsum, Plywood & OSB.
