Sto EmeraldCoat is a vapor permeable building membrane that can be used under a variety of claddings including cement board, wood, vinyl, brick, stone and metal panels.
Part of the StoGuard air barrier and moisture barrier assembly, Sto EmeraldCoat is a sheathing treatment that combines Sto EmeraldCoat with StoGuard joint / rough opening treatments, creating a continuous air and moisture barrier. Air and moisture barriers help protect moisture sensitive components in buildings by preventing air infiltration and water ingress into the building, all resulting in an energy efficient wall assembly. Sto EmeraldCoat fluid-applied membrane can be roller or spray applied using standard airless sprayers. Featuring high vapor permeance, Sto EmeraldCoat can be used on gypsum and wood based sheathings and CMU.
