Sto ExtraSeal
Sto ExtraSeal is a single component air barrier and continuous insulation adhesive for use on vertical above grade concrete, concrete masonry (CMU), and gypsum board sheathing wall surfaces. Sto ExtraSeal is part of the StoEnergy Guard family of products, which together create an integrated cavity wall solution that is used for substrate protection, energy efficiency and energy conservation under multiple cladding types, including stone, siding, stucco and more.
Sto ExtraSeal provides durable substrate protection and air leakage resistance, and it acts as an adhesive compatible with most commonly available continuous rigid insulation boards. Features include:
- A fully adhered structural air barrier material, for reduced energy consumption, resistance to damage by wind and stack effect, and no air leakage between sheathing and air barrier.
- A single component multipurpose product which simplifies mixing, application and handling on the job site for a variety of applications.
- A high build and leveling capability which does not require flush CMU mortar joints; it fills and levels rough concrete or CMU wall surfaces.

StoPowerwall Stucco
Sto’s blend of Portland cement, fibers and other additives has field mixed stucco beat hands down for 1/2" to 7/8" stucco applications:
- Factory mixed for consistent quality
- High compressive strength of +2,500 psi for greater impact resistance and less cracking
- Enables lower weight per square foot because it can be installed in thinner sections than field mixed stucco
- Protects against moisture intrusion and looks better longer
- Faster installation with less field mixing reduces cost and improves quality
