STO CORP. RESTORE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS EIFS/STUCCO RESTORATION SOLUTIONS
ATLANTA – (July 16, 2007) Sto Corp., the innovative world leader in cladding, coating, and restoration systems, has introduced the new reStore Program aimed squarely at the exterior wall renovation market for commercial structures.
The reStore program strategy is simple. It includes pursuing restoration work, specifically Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS), traditional hard coat stucco finishes, and masonry walls for buildings in need of cleaning and recoating. In the early stages of this program, Sto Corp. is concentrating on two specific product lines – StoCoat™ Lotusan® and StoSilco® Lastic – that have great impact in this market to building owners, general contractors, and applicators.
StoCoat™ Lotusan® is a smooth, vertical, above grade exterior wall coating with BIONICS™ technology that mimics the self cleaning capabilities of the lotus leaf. Used in commercial and residential applications, it allows building to look cleaner longer without the need for harsh detergents and excessive water usage to keep it clean, making it environmentally friendly as well.
StoSilco® Lastic is an elastomeric, silicone-emulsion, decorative coating. It is weatherproof, dirt-resistant, and mildew-resistant; and bridges hairline cracks. Sto customers use it for protecting vertical concrete, stucco, EIFS, masonry, or previously acrylic-coated smooth/textured surfaces. Its smooth finish is roller-applied or spray-applied in a variety of colors, making it an easy way to quickly improve a substrate’s appearance.
