DECLARED A “COMPANY OF ASSURED QUALITY”
Examination supports Sto’s commitment to excellence in
product manufacturing and customer service
ATLANTA – (December 15, 2003) Sto Corp, the innovative world leader in cladding, coating and restoration systems, has announced the successful passing of its recent ISO 9001:2000 audit conducted by an independent outside source.
“The independent auditor determined, after extensive examination Sto’s quality system, that our organization complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and is hereby recommended as a company of assured quality,” said Dave Boivin, President and CEO. “The plants at Rutland Town, VT, Atlanta, GA, and Glendale, AZ all follow the established quality management system effectively via the Vintara website. All this translates into a more efficient company that better serves its customers and produces high-quality products.”
The objectives of the 2003 audit were:
· to confirm that the Sto Corp. management system conforms with all the requirements of the audit standard;
· to confirm that the Sto Corp. adheres to its own policies, objectives and procedures;
· to confirm that Sto Corp.’s management system is achieving the organization’s policy objectives.
ISO 9000 is the family of standards and guidelines that make up the world most widely accepted Quality Management System program. ISO 9001:2000 is the new version of the proven standard for Quality Management Systems.
